News that employment rates are on the rise for quantitative finance master’s graduates should be reason to cheer – almost as much as the joy that students and lecturers must feel at being back in the classroom and mingling on campus once again.

I have been a supervisor on a top-ranked quant finance master’s programme for over a decade, and mentored many students during this time. I thought it would be an interesting exercise to go back and talk to them, and see how they’re doing in their career
