Fund of hedge fund Orbita Global Opportunities Strategy operates in a boutique style but with institutional resources. The fund was launched by Michael Timmerman at Coutts in 1998. It then became part of RBS Asset Management until May 2010 when Aberdeen Asset Management took over.
