JSCC faces pushback on plans to merge futures default funds

Members say commodities products should be kept fully segregated because of different risk profile

Some clearing members are urging the Japan Securities Clearing Corporation (JSCC) to rethink plans to fold its default fund for commodities in with much larger default funds for financial futures, in view of the very different profiles of risk, liquidity and market participants in the two segments.
