EC to adopt NII outlier test within ‘weeks’

The European Commission is preparing to adopt a legal text governing how banks manage interest rate risk within “weeks”, according to sources familiar with the process. The rule will require banks to submit results of a test meant to reveal those most at risk of a sharp fall in net income in the event of changes to interest rates.
