The UK power market currently faces severe criticism, but when the present market structure was launched in March 2001, it was heralded as ‘ground-breaking’ by industry observers
After all the criticism, postponements and uncertainty, the UK's new electricity trading arrangements (Neta) were scheduled to start on March 27, as Energy Risk went to press.
