Clarke leaves Aspect

Richard Clarke is leaving Aspect Capital on 3 August to start his own hedge fund with a former business partner, Alan Bartlett.

Their plans are not fixed but they hope to launch a European long/short equity fund.

Clarke and Bartlett have worked together three times in the past and previously managed a research company called Momentum and Value.
