Long/short equity fund opens

Former long-only fund managers at Invesco, Bertrand van Houtte and Olivier de Faramond have launched the Colbert Europe fund.

The fund is a long/short European equities fund investing in large-cap European stocks on the short side and 80% large caps on the long side.

The managers opened with the aim of raising e200m and were confident of closing at the end of October. The managers have both had
