Philip Gibbs, manager of Jupiter Hyde Park, sees little upside in investment banks or insurance companies, but continues to take long positions in hedge fund companies

Jupiter Hyde Park, which is in an international equity long/short portfolio, has an inherent bias towards financials, and the UK and Irish markets due to Gibbs expertise in this area.

Having run the Standard & Poor's-rated AAA Jupiter Financials unit trust for the past five years, Gibbs tends to draw upon this experience in his hedge fund, which was launched in 2000.
