Cayman expected to remain dominant, but some European jurisdictions are attractive

Where are the new or expanding markets for fund administration? Are new domiciles like Malta, closing the gap with more developed locations? Will Caymans, for example, continue its domination as first choice for hedge funds?

Most fund administrators agree the Cayman Islands will continue to dominate the hedge fund industry. However, several see new jurisdictions, like Malta and Mauritius, gaining ground as both onshore and offshore locations in Europe continue to grow.
