Investcorp spends a lot of time analysing hedge fund returns and risks. Separate accounts, single manager funds and customised portfolios are used to find the right fit for its institutional client.
Deepak Gurnani relishes solving complex problems. This trait has served him well in his role as head of hedge funds at Investcorp.
For much of the past decade Gurnani and his team have been engaged in a project to systematically analyse and uncover the drivers of risk and return in hedge funds. The results of this are at the heart of Investcorp’s investment and risk management process.
