Although not cheap, listing your fund on a stock exchange has been a way of giving investors an added layer of oversight and protection, and thus help you riase money. But UK groups overseeing closed-ended funds are arguing not all exchanges are created equal, as Solomon Teague explains

Changes to listing rules for foreign companies in the UK has created a two-tier system, and is in danger of driving funds out of the UK, warns Ian Sayers, deputy director general of the Association of Investment Companies.

Sayers objects to the UK Listing Authority's (UKLA) regulatory changes, allowing foreign companies to list in the United Kingdom under Chapter 14 of the Listing Rules, which are
