August performance flat

All hedge funds in the CSFB/Tremont Hedge Fund Index have now reported August performance, following a one week delay due to the tragedy at the World Trade Center. The CSFB/Tremont Hedge Fund Index remains up 0.9% for August 2001 and 3.0% year-to-date, unchanged from the provisional performance reported last week, according to Robert Sloan, chief executive officer of Credit Suisse First Boston
