JP Morgan’s Asia commodities chief Dawe quits

Oral Dawe built up JP Morgan's commodities business into one of the largest platforms in Asia since joining the US bank from Goldman Sachs in 2008.

JP Morgan's Asia Pacific chief executive of global commodities, Oral Dawe, is retiring from the firm. He will be replaced by Ray Eyles, who was most recently global head of commodity proprietary trading in London.

Dawe joined JP Morgan in May 2008 from Goldman Sachs where he had worked for a decade, most recently alongside Allan Marson as co-head of commodities for the region. He was tasked with
