In light of the increased interest in investing in renewable energy following the publication of the EU renewables directive in September, David Pethick, Rebecca Calder and Chris Clancy suggest a method of reducing wind risk

The publication of the European Union directive on the promotion of electricity produced from renewable sources in September 2001 has led to an unprecendented level of interest in investment in renewable energy generation assets.
