The career path from neurosurgery into finance is not the most well-trodden, but it's the route taken by Paul Ezekiel, Credit Suisse's head of carbon trading. Having specialised in neurosurgery after attending medical school in his home country of Australia, Ezekiel moved to the US in 1992 and gained an MBA from Cornell University before moving into the financial sector.
