Brian O'Cathain, CEO of oil exploration company Afren, talks with Eithne Treanor about the risks and rewards facing small oil companies in Africa.
Brian O'Cathain is spending a lot of time in Africa these days as he carefully assesses expansion plans for Afren with his Nigerian counterparts. The CEO of this fledgling oil exploration company says that despite the geopolitical risk, he is confident that the good times are closer than we may think. "We see tremendous potential in Africa, especially in Nigeria," he says.
