Voluntary carbon market boosted by VCSA recognition
The California Climate Action Registry's (CCAR's) greenhouse gas offset programe has become the first to gain recognition from the Voluntary Carbon Standard Association (VCSA).
Climate Action Reserve was launched earlier this year to offer guidelines for emission reduction projects. It also provides an online system for tracking qualifying projects and their offset credits, Climate Reserve Tonnes
