The equity bull run of the past three years may have ground to a halt, but the prices of commodities - ranging from oil through to rice - remain stubbornly high. That's why investors in Asia have started transferring capital from traditional destinations such as stocks and currency into what, for many in the region, is a relatively new asset class.
