Dr. Godfred Aawaar is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Accounting and Finance, KNUST School of Business. He holds a PhD in Economics from University of Zululand, South Africa. His research interest is focused on financial market development in emerging and frontier markets. He has published quite extensively in peer reviewed journals, including but not limited to Research in International Business and Finance, Journal of Economic and Administrative Science, Cogent Economics and Finance, Frontier in Finance and Economics, and International Journal of Economics and Financial Issues. Godfred has successfully completed the supervision of PhD students at KNUST School of Business.
