Giuliano Maielli

Giuliano Maielli is a Reader in Organization Studies at the School of Business and Management, Queen Mary University of London. His research spans the fields of business history and organisation studies with a focus on the Italian economy. His work focuses upon technological and institutional innovation through the analytical lens of “design hierarchies”, with a particular interest in path-dependence and path-creation as socio-organisational phenomena. Giuliano has published peer-reviewed academic papers on these topics, while his current research revolves around platform dynamics and institutional innovation.
