Erdem Bağcı is currently serving as an associate professor of economics at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University in Balıkesir, Turkey, a position he has held since 2020. Prior to this role, he was an assistant professor of economics at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences at Istanbul Gelisim University in Istanbul, Turkey, from 2014 to 2020. He obtained his Master of Science degree in 2009 and his Doctor of Philosophy degree in 2013, both from Marmara University in Istanbul, Turkey.
