Michael Hanias

International Hellenic University

Associate Professor Michael Hanias was born in Athens. He holds a degree in Physics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1984) and a PhD from the Physics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1993). Today he works as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics of the International University of Greece. He is the Director of Solid State Electronics Physics and Nanotechnology Lab, a member of the Institutional Committee of the Postgraduate Program, “Economic Physics - Financial Forecasting”, (International University of Greece - University of Thessaly). His research interests include: Electrical and Optical Properties of Semiconductors, Chaos Theory, Nonlinear Circuits and Systems, Time Series Prediction, Neural Networks. His published work consists of 1 book, 5 book chapters, over 100 papers in international journals and conferences. His research work includes 1364 references with h = 18. He has been a member of scientific and organizing committees of international conferences. He is a member of the Editorial Board of 7 international journals and a reviewer of 22 scientific journals.
