Alfa Heryudono

Alfa R.H. Heryudono has been with the Department of Mathematics, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth since 2008. He graduated from University of Delaware with a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics in 2008. His research interests are in scientific computing and numerical methods for PDEs, radial basis function and pseudospectral methods, computational finance, numerical conformal mapping, and modeling tear-film dynamics.

Numerical simulation and applications of the convection–diffusion–reaction

This paper develops two local mesh-free methods for designing stencil weights and spatial discretization, respectively, for parabolic partial differential equations (PDEs) of convection–diffusion–reaction type.
