Matt V. Leduc

Matt V. Leduc is a Research Scholar at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), working in the Advanced Systems Analysis (ASA) program. He obtained his PhD from Stanford University, where he worked on network game theory. He has also been a visiting post-doctoral fellow at ETH Zürich and a visiting research scholar at Cambridge University (Department of Economics/INET Institute). Dr. Leduc’s research focuses mainly on microeconomics, game theory, the economics of networks and contract theory. He is mainly interested in understanding how network externalities affect agents’ behavior and how to design incentives to optimize collective outcomes. He has namely published in such peer-reviewed journals as Games and Economic Behavior, the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control and Network Science and has presented his work at numerous international conferences.
