Marcus Eriksson earned his PhD in Mathematics, focusing on stochastic analysis, at the University of Oslo in 2014. Previously he studied engineering physics at Uppsala University. His research interest is on mathematical modeling, in particular of power markets. From 2015 he has been a senior analyst in power markets for continental Europe at Thomson Reuters. This position includes analysis and modeling of power prices and its underlying fundamentals, such as wind, solar and consumption.
