SEC closes in on sweep guidance for structured notes estimated value disclosure
The SEC will soon send issuers final guidance on structured note valuation disclosure, following a sweep letter sent last April
The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has recently been informing structured products issuers in private meetings that they must disclose the estimated value of their notes on the cover page of their offering documents and share this information with investors prior to the time of sale.
