Nasdaq launches new commodity index family

Nasdaq has broadened its index offering with the launch of a new commodity index family that consists of a broad benchmark, a liquid-based tradable index, as well as 10 sector and 33 single indexes. The index family, made up of 450 indexes, aims to measure the performance of single commodities and sectors through the use of futures contracts on physical commodities.
