Factor Advisors puts spread-trading ETFs on the menu
Factor Advisors has launched a series of ETFs which offers investors a streamlined and cost-effective approach to spread trading.
In an effort to meet investor demand for spread trading in ETF form, asset management firm Factor Advisors has teamed up with electronic market-maker Interactive Brokers to offer investors five commission-free exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on the Trader Workstation platform.
The FactorShares ETFs provide investors with access to daily spreads between major asset classes within a single ETF position.
“Spread trading would ordinarily require two positions: a long and a short,” says Stuart Rosenthal
