BarCap launches Asia-Pacific convertible bonds index
Barclays Capital has expanded its geographical footprint with the launch of an index designed for use as a benchmark in portfolios covering Asia-Pacific convertibles.
In response to demand for exposure to Asia-Pacific convertible bonds, Barclays Capital has launched an index that provides investors with a total return benchmark for multi-currency Asia-Pacific convertible bond portfolios.
The Barclays Capital Asia Pacific Convertibles Index follows the launch of a series of convertibles indexes for emerging markets and the US.
