Luxembourg Financial adds James to head hedge funds
Gareth James has joined Luxembourg Financial Group (LFG) in London as head of hedge fund solutions. James was formerly head of hedge fund derivatives at Deutsche Bank, where he ran the German bank's managed account platform (DB-X).
James will report to Johan Groothaert, chief executive of LFG, who he worked with at Deutsche. His appointment follows the launch of LAUP, the firm's Luxembourg Alternatives Ucits Platform.
