Simon Yates left his position as co-head of European equities at Credit Suisse in London on October 23. He is relocating to New York, according to officials at the bank.

Yates has spent 12 years at Credit Suisse, moving to London in 2006 to become co-head of European equities. In 2008, he took on the role of co-head of global securities for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, but gave up the title earlier this year. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Yates was an index option trader at JP Morgan.
