Lehman lawsuits may cross borders as victims look to US for redress

Cross-border lawsuits are becoming a possibility as international investors contact US lawyers for help on losses arising from Lehman Brothers-backed principal-protected notes.

Chris Vernon, partner at Florida-based law firm Vernon Healy, says he has seen a sudden increase in complaints one year after the Lehman collapse, and is receiving requests from investors in Russia, Central and South America, Germany and Asia for assistance in actions relating to the sale of principal-protected Lehman
