JPM gains South Korea OTC licence

JP Morgan has acquired a licence to market and trade OTC derivatives in South Korea, allowing the JP Morgan Securities Far East Seoul Branch to participate in the derivatives and securitised derivatives markets, including structured products.

The licence allows the bank to market and trade onshore OTC derivatives and products in Korean won across asset classes, and to act as a liquidity provider for equity-linked warrants.
