UK pension changes spell trouble, says IDAD boss
Clive Moore, the head of UK-based distributor Investment Design and Distribution and founder of Compass Global Wealth, discusses the offshore structured products market and shares his gloomy predictions for the future of UK pensions
Clive Moore is preternaturally cynical about the motivations of other market participants. He is the founder and managing director of Investment Design and Distribution (IDAD), a Peterborough-based distributor that began consulting for big banks on structured products in 2002, helping them to enter the retail investor market. Finding that this work left him with too much time on his hands - "I knew I had to do something when I considered taking up golf" - he decided to tap into the offshore
