Huntington National Bank is a 150-year-old retail and commercial bank that has grown to considerable size without ever straying from its roots in the American midwest. According to its latest annual report, it boasts $56 billion in assets, and its shares, which trade on Nasdaq, are included in the S&P 500. Dave Fitzsimmons manages the equity derivatives group, which competes with national banks for the region’s retail and institutional business.
