Deutsche Bank hires Victor Chao in Taiwan

Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management has appointed Victor Chao as head of private wealth management, Taiwan. Chao, who is based in Taipei, will be responsible for managing and overseeing the franchise in Taiwan and will report to Kenneth Toong, head of private wealth management, North Asia.

Chao joined Deutsche from Citi, where he was executive director and chief officer of Citi Private Bank Taipei, responsible for managing its onshore capabilities. Prior to that he was vice-president of marketing for depository services at JP Morgan, where he began his banking career.
