Hess leaves Goldman Sachs and returns to Citi

Dirk Hess has joined Citi as a director in the EMEA retail structured products business. Hess will split his time between London and Frankfurt, and be responsible for working across the sales, marketing and new issuance teams to build out Citi's cross-asset product range in Germany and Austria.

Hess worked previously in derivatives trading at Citi before departing for Goldman Sachs in 2002. At Goldman, Hess was initially responsible for sales of securitised leveraged products before taking charge of institutional clients in the structured investment products division in 2006. He most recently held the title of executive director at Goldman.
