BofA-Merrill hires Zaimi to head FICC and structured products sales

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has named Sanaz Zaimi as head of Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), as well as head of debt and equity Structured Products Sales for the same region.

Zaimi's responsibilities include those held by Antonio Polverino, who moved to RBS last month, as well as all debt and equity structured products sales in Europe.

Zaimi, who is expected to join the company in early 2010, will be based in London and will jointly report to David Gu and Michael Stewart, co-heads of EMEA Global Markets, and Mike Meyer, global head of sales for Global Markets.
