US wrap: China leads taste for emerging markets

The MSCI Emerging Markets Index Fund provides the basis for a handful of products in the latest US issuance. Emerging markets are still a strong theme in the US and other developed markets, and index funds are also frequently used as an alternative to having a product directly tracking the index.

The products based on the funds come from two of the smaller players in the market, HSBC and Deutsche Bank. HSBC has issued the Buffered Accelerated Market Participation linked to the iShares MSCI
