Philippe Gougenheim - Banque Lombard Odier

Philippe Gougenheim, Executive Vice-President, is Deputy Chief Investment Officer and Head of Global Markets at Banque Lombard Odier. He is a member of the Group Investment Committee, of the Group Risk Committee, of the Private Client Investment Committee and of the Group Operating Committee. Philippe started his career in 1988 at JP Morgan in a sales role for fixed income and foreign exchange products. He then moved to the interest rates derivatives team and was soon appointed as its manager. From 1997 to 2005, Philippe worked for Société Générale, where he ultimately managed a proprietary trading team, after heading the team in charge of market-making for interest rates and foreign exchange derivatives. From 2005 to 2008, he was a Managing Director at Millennium Partners, one of the oldest and largest hedge funds, where he headed a team of global macro and fixed income traders. From 2008 to 2010, Philippe was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Man Investments, where he also held the roles of Chairman of the Investment Committee and Head of Strategic Research and Management. He then joined Unigestion as Managing Director, Head of the Hedge Funds team and a member of Unigestion's Executive Committee. Philippe holds an MBA from the French business school, ESSEC.
