OpRisk Europe: Biggest operational risk posed by people, survey finds

Respondents to a survey at the OpRisk Europe conference overwhelmingly point to people as the biggest operational risk

The majority of respondents to a survey at the OpRisk Europe conference in London today said people pose the biggest operational risk to their business.

More than 60% of conference attendees voted for this option, compared with just 7% who identified external issues as their top operational risk – a result that Andrew Sheen, manager in the risk frameworks and governance team at the UK Financial
