Too difficult to prosecute "reckless" bankers, lawyer warns

The UK government's plan to introduce a criminal offence of reckless misconduct for senior bankers may make little practical difference, according to one legal expert. Today's announcement comes in response to the Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards' report, entitled 'Changing banking for good', which was released on June 19.
