As the July 1 deadline approaches, Bob Kneip, chief executive of fund service provider Kneip, reflects on the remaining challenges for producing Kiids
Independent research sites and consultancies have been raising concerns about the quality and level of disclosure in the key investor information documents (Kiids) that have already been disseminated to the public. Some industry leaders have gone so far as to call the document a step backwards in transparency.
Introduced to replace the simplified prospectus and to increase product disclosure, the Kiid’s main objective is to enable investors to compare funds and make better informed investment
