Senior executive says move would help foster all-to-all trading in cash Treasuries
The US Treasury market should be subject to mandatory clearing, according to a senior executive at platform operator Tradeweb – a move it is argued would end the current bifurcation between dealer-to-dealer and dealer-to-client liquidity pools and help foster all-to-all trading.
