HSBC on global hiring spree

HSBC has made a series of hires across foreign exchange trading and sales in Asia and Europe, it confirmed today (August 17).

In Tokyo, Ryuichi Atsuta has joined as a director and head of FX trading, reporting to Kosuke Hanao, head of FX in Japan. Atsuta was previously at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was head of FX for Japan. He has also worked in Singapore as an FX trader with the US bank and used to manage regional FX in Japan (FX Week, April 14, 2003 and January 21, 2002).

In Singapore, Guy Dickinson has re-joined HSBC from Barclays Capital as a director and head of FX trading, while Joanne Ng has joined
