European commissioner Michel Barnier says legislation in works requiring credit default swaps to be registered and made fully transparent; follows criticism of investors from European leaders
Europe will unveil measures in the autumn requiring sovereign credit default swaps (CDSs) to be registered, Michel Barnier, the European commissioner for internal market regulation, said on May 17.
