Siegl new CRO for Leipzig clearing house

Thomas Siegl is to be appointed chief risk officer of European Commodity Clearing (ECC), the Leipzig-based clearing house for energy-related commodities and derivatives. Siegl is currently head of the central risk management division of BHF-Bank in Frankfurt. He will replace Maik Neubauer, who resigned as chief risk officer and chief financial officer in July 2009, because of "different views regarding the alignment and future course of the ECC", according to a statement from the ECC's parent
