HSBC reorganises management team

HSBC has reshuffled its global markets businesses, making several changes to senior management. John Flint, group treasurer and deputy head of global markets and head of global markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), has been promoted to chief executive of the bank's global asset management business. He replaces Mark McCombe, who will relocate to Asia to become chief executive of HSBC's Hong Kong office. Flint joined the bank in 1989 and spent 14
