Osfi's White to chair Basel risk management group

Mark White, assistant superintendent of regulation at Canada’s Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Osfi), is the new chair of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision’s risk management and modelling group (RMMG).

He takes over the role – which he will carry out in addition to his Osfi duties – from Klaas Knot, former director of supervisory policy at the Netherlands Bank. Knot took up the position of deputy treasurer-general and director of financial markets at the Dutch
