Tradition COO to retire

David Pinchin will retire from his position as chief operating officer (COO) for the Swiss brokerage Compagnie Financiere Tradition (CFT) from August 31.

Pinchin will stay within the company as a senior adviser on a consultancy basis and will continue as director of CFT until the end of the year. He took over as COO in June 2007.

Since April 2007 he has been on CFT's executive board, and was president of its interdealer broker subsidiary Tradition Financial Services (TFS). Pinchin originally helped to found TFS in 1985. His replacement as COO is yet to be named.
